Wooden bookcase with doors designed by Marc Wood and handmade in Somerset by Marc and our small workshop team using natural rustic FSC Redwood timbers.

Our large ‘library cabinet’ style bookcase is made from chunky natural wood with 4 open bookshelves to display your house plants, ornaments and favorite books and a central shelf inside the lower double doors to store away all of your household clutter.

Our large bookcase has been thoughtfully designed by Marc with a classic pediment top piece and traditional jointing techniques throughout.

• Tall wooden bookcase with doors measures 85 cm wide x 180 cm high x 40 cm deep for the  main body and 89 cm wide x 42 cm deep with the pediment top piece.
• With a solid high quality plywood back panel (alternatively we can use a wooden ‘tongue and groove’ back panel for an additional £40.00)
• With 4 fixed storage shelves each with approx 25 cm of usable height.
• The lower cabinet section with double ‘butt joint’ doors is approx 60 cm high and features a lower and a central shelf with approx 35.5 cm of usable depth.
• and bottom panel; minimalist inset handles complete the modern rustic look.
• With a solid plinth base and upper moulding.

Water resistant Danish Oil finish;

The wooden bookcase with doors in the main pictures has been finished in dark Danish Oil and we also offer a light finish (last image) please let us know your wood tone choice when ordering.

Our Danish Oil finish is hard wearing and water resistant.
