Description

Our rustic wooden bookshelf has been designed by Marc Wood and each is handmade in Somerset by Marc and our small workshop team using natural, sustainable FSC Redwood timbers.

Our Slim and elegant bookcase is made from natural wood in our modern country cottage style with 3 storage shelves to display your ornaments, books and plants.

Our shallow bookshelf has been thoughtfully designed by Marc in our Somerset workshop with a chunky 4 cm thick solid top piece and traditional jointing techniques.

Slim wooden bookshelves measure 70 cm wide x 90 cm high x 19 cm deep.
With a chunky 4 cm thick table top piece for books and ornaments.
With 3 fixed storage shelves each with approx 26 cm of internal height.
With 2 cm ‘feet’ for healthy airflow.

Water resistant Danish Oil finish;

The rustic wooden bookshelf in the main pictures has been finished in a dark wood Danish Oil and we also offer a light wood finish. Please let us know your wood tone choice when ordering.

Our Danish Oil finish is hard wearing and water resistant.

Delivery and Returns: Everything is handmade to order in our Somerset workshop. With our current waiting list we will need 2 weeks for completion and dispatch via Parcel Force 24 – 48 hour courier; any questions please just ask.

Our reviews will tell you that our handmade pieces are worth the wait! If you give us your telephone number when ordering then we can include it with your courier booking.

*Additional delivery charges may apply to the IV postcodes in the Scottish Highlands and those designated a ‘Remote Area’ by DHL. Please contact us before placing an order if you live in one of these areas. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery to the Scottish Islands, Channel islands, Scilly Isles and EU. Gorgeous slim bookcase, just what I wanted for a corner of my bedroom. Beautifully made with a lovely rustic finish. Marc and Rachel were extremely helpful and very communicative (and Marc’s dad – plus all the artisans in neighbouring units – very charming on collection!).
