Delivery of our handmade wooden furniture, picture frames and mirrors:
We use DHL and Parcel Force 24 – 48 hour courier for our smaller handmade items and we will email you with the expected delivery date when you buy (usually 2 or 3 weeks from purchase, depending on the size of the item) We will also contact you after dispatch with full tracking information.
For or our larger pieces, please send us your postcode and we will contact our recommended and trusted door to door furniture courier for his price before you buy.
Payment will be directly to him on delivery as he is not a part of our business and he may need an additional 2 weeks after our completion date for delivery, depending on his schedule.
Please ensure that your new furniture piece will fit though your doorways and into position .
Although we are not liable for any costs incurred if your item has to be returned to us because it will not fit, of course we are happy to discuss the logistics of delivery before you purchase.
Everything is handmade to order in our Somerset workshop and at busy times we may need to extend the make times for any unconfirmed orders (those under discussion but not yet paid for)
Although we are not responsible for delivery delays outside our control, we want you to be happy with the delivery process and if you do have any issues with your delivery, please contact us and we will intercede on your behalf.
Damaged items:
As a small, family business we use DHL because we have found them to be the most careful with our delicate handmade furniture, picture frames and mirrors.
If damage in transit has occurred, please let us know and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
In the case of broken glass we can reimburse the cost of a locally sourced replacement, for other damage we can arrange for collection and replacement asap.
Returns and Cancellations:
In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
Bespoke items made to your specifications cannot be returned unless there is a fault with the item.
We accept cancellations prior to the day of dispatch and we accept returns of items within 14 days of delivery, and you have another 14 days to return the goods back to us in Somerset at your own expense; we recommend that you use DHL for furniture and Royal Mail for Fair Trade homeware to avoid loss or damage in transit.
Our item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.
Please contact us and we will arrange collection via DHL, you will need to print out the collection labels and repackage in the original packaging (with your address details etc removed or covered)
