Beginners’ woodworking courses in Somerset UK
Spend some time with Marc Wood learning woodworking skills in our rural workshop, as he answers your joinery questions along the way.
Our taster and full day woodworking courses for adults (over 18 years) include advice and tuition on traditional hand tools, joints and techniques.
Marc will tutor you in different joinery and carpentry techniques and by the end of the full day option you should also have made yourself a wooden ‘dovetail’ mirror or dowel detail picture frame to take home.
With a maximum of 6 people per session you will each receive personalised tuition from Marc throughout the day as you learn about various hand tools, different wood types and furniture making.
