Our wide rustic wooden mirror has been designed by Marc Wood in our signature ‘dovetail ‘ style and is handmade by Marc and the team in Somerset UK from natural, sustainable FSC Redwood timbers.
Our decorative extra large wooden frame mirror is the perfect style for your rustic living room, farmhouse kitchen or grand hallway and will reflect light throughout your home with it’s impressive dimensions.
- Our wide rustic wooden mirror measures approx. 120 cm X 90 cm overall size.
- The chunky wooden mirror frame is a substantial 12 cm wide and 4 cm deep.
- Specially toughened ‘safety mirror glass’ has been used due to the overlarge mirror dimensions.
- Our decorative signature dovetail joint features on the delicately rounded corners of the natural wooden frame.
- 2 vintage style brass hanging plates are attached so that it can be wall mounted or safely tethered as a tall full length dressing or extra large leaner mirror (these will need to be turned 180 degrees to the correct position)
- Made to hang either ‘portrait’ or ‘landscape’ – please select your choice when ordering.
- Alternatively we can fix these to be hidden behind your wooden mirror frame on request – see our installation page for more details; please note that these hanging plates will be turned 180 degrees for transit (to avoid bending) and will need to be unscrewed, turned 180 degrees so that they jut up above the frame and then securely re-screwed for hanging; if you have any questions regarding installation just ask.

Water resistant Danish Oil finish;
The large wooden frame mirror in the main pictures has been finished in a light wood Danish Oil and we also offer a rich, dark wood finish option, please let us know your wood tone choice when ordering.
Our Danish Oil finish is hard wearing and especially suitable for humid bathroom or kitchen conditions.

I received my mirror today and was absolutely delighted with the results, within 30 minutes of the courier delivering it I had it mounted in pride of place above the fireplace mantle.
It looks fantastic, the quality of the finish is perfect, it has a lovely, obviously hand made look but is so precise you can really tell the time and experience that goes in to making it.
Mirrors in general are not cheap, but I can honestly say this one is worth every penny, I would not hesitate to recommend Marc to friends and family and will definitely use again myself should a need arise.
From the moment I made contact (with a bespoke measurement size by email) the communication was quick and professional, the quoted time for production and delivery was good, open and honest.
