Our rustic kitchen island cabinet has been designed by Marc Wood in our signature ‘dovetail ‘ style and is handmade by Marc and the team.

Designed to match with our Dovetail Kitchen Furniture collection, this small wooden kitchen island cabinet measures 60 cm wide x 45 cm deep x 90 high with a neatly rounded overhang 1 cm front and back and 2 cm either side (main body measures 56 cm wide x 43 cm deep)

With a 4 cm thick wooden top piece, the upper cabinet section measures 56 cm wide x 43 cm deep x 44.5 cm high (inner shelf height approx. 42.5 cm)

We recommend that you always use a sturdy chopping board and a heat protector during food preparation to avoid marking the natural wooden worktop, which is not designed to be a direct preparation surface.

With double ‘dovetail’ doors featuring brass hinges and a ball catch closing mechanism.

Minimalist inset ‘groove’ style handles are set in the middle of the inner door panels (on request round wooden handles can be used instead)

Floor standing on 2 cm high feet for healthy air flow to help prolong the life of fresh produce and spices; the slatted shelf is removable for cleaning and sits above the feet with approx. 35.5 cm of height.

This characterful wooden kitchen work station comes with a solid high quality Plywood back panel.

Water resistant Danish Oil finish;

The rustic kitchen island cabinet in the main pictures has been finished in light Danish Oil and we also offer a dark finish option, please let us know your wood tone choice when ordering.

Our Danish Oil finish is hard wearing and especially suitable for humid kitchen and utility room conditions.
